30 Days Left!

On a morning thirty days from now, there will be lines, a drive, and airport food.
This summer, I will be a return tutor to an amazing place I can’t turn my back from:
Italy and A.C.L.E.

Teaching English in Italy was the highlight of my 2018—so far 2019’s been great, but I’m sure boarding that plane in June, and getting back on it in September will bookend the most vivid chapter of my year.

2018 had an insanely busy summer: traveling to a new location on Saturday, getting to know a new host family Sunday, giving every scrap of effort to teaching Monday through Friday—I loved it. For me, this summer will be even busier.

Last year, I spent my life experiencing and adjusting to a lifestyle that hit me with tidal waves of fun, long days, which I gave every grain of myself to.

This year, I’ve got plans: filming a travel video series, blogging a story about each A.C.L.E camp, and trying desperately to stay in shape this time around. I can’t look at these things as options. They are necessities, what I value, and they’re completely possible.

With thirty days left until my life completely changes again, I have plenty of time to be prepared for how busy and productive I demand myself to be this summer.
From now until I’m eating airline peanuts, my schedule needs to evolve, so starting today, I’m demanding I work at least twelve hours a day.

I’m making backlog content to publish while I’m traveling (alongside my weekly post), and I need to figure my travel series out before the first episode, which takes place in a famous Italian city I’ve never understood.

I have film ideas, blog posts, stories, upgrades for the website, all things dedicated to creating a space where my content can be accessed. It’s an undertaking, and I’ll get into the “why” in another post. For now, expect things, and thank you!

🙂
