So, it’s been a month. . . . Missed you! xo
A lot has happened since getting back from my summer of teaching in Italy. I’ve enrolled in three colleges, dropped out of one of them, and snagged a swanky job at Starbucks (I know, I know).
Things have been good. I’ve been reading more, writing more (not blog posts, obviously), and am very happy to have my guitar on-hand every day.
However helpful for my personal life it’s been, taking a month off from this blog has nagged at me. I’ve never made a faster turnaround on any creative projects than the ones in this here, nifty ol’ blog, and it really boosts my mood to release things this quickly.
Earlier in the year, I was posting weekly; with a full-time job also on my hands, not much time was left for other creative projects.
Now, I’m in school and working! This is my first week of both, and I can’t tell how crazy things are going to get. I also have other projects I want to create and share with you, outside of this blog.
Let’s cut to the chase. Let’s face da facts.
For now, my life isn’t as entertaining as my crazy summer, so sharing personal posts would look more like a work week (bleh) than stories about skydiving and magic cocktails. What I’d rather make, what I’d rather read, is content that gets a little more funky. The funny stuff, the fiction, the stories, and the things I think are worth sharing.
Oh yes I did. I said funky.
What can you expect?
Content, and infamous word, to me means filler for, more content. Most people I see don’t get content right (imo). I don’t feel comfortable posting something I feel is a waste of time, so that filler stuff seems toxic toxic toxic—not my thing.
Expect some videos, some writing! Comedy, fiction, non-fiction, some life stuff, and beyond!
And more fragment sentences!
Right now,
I’m working on another Harvey video and some travel videos, which may or may not work out!
How do you end a post like this?
Well, we’ll find out!
Oh, this is how:
I’m busy trying to improve my life, so do expect things. Work and school are only half of it. Please remember, value your passions and hobbies as much or more than you value your job or school. One day, you’ll be doing whichever you’ve practiced most!
